Shakespeare- initial thoughts
I studied Shakespeare in English at school (Macbeth itself, actually) and I found the play quite interesting and enjoyable. The characters are well written and despite being written in 1606, Lady Macbeth is written as a female character that has some sort of power over her husband and others. Whether this was written as a humorous thing that seemed improbable or Shakespeare actually wanted there to be a strong female in the play is hard to tell, but the characters and their backgrounds are very memorable.

Skills, fears and hopes A couple of days before, we had an induction day where we completed sheets of paper full of the skills we need, fears and hopes for the upcoming course.
